Art
Montessori art is a multi-disciplinary program integrated with all areas of the curriculum, enhancing students' learning experiences across subjects. Children are introduced to foundational artistic concepts such as line, form, and color, which serve as building blocks for creative expression. Throughout the year, they have the opportunity to experiment with a wide range of artistic mediums-such as painting, drawing, sculpture, and collage allowing them to discover their individual preferences and talents.
In addition to creating their own artwork, students explore various artistic genres and study the works of influential artists from different cultures and historical periods. This exposure deepens their appreciation for the visual arts and connects. their artistic exploration to broader themes in history, literature, and cultural studies. By participating in the art program, children develop fine motor skills, creativity, and critical thinking, while gaining confidence in their ability to express themselves and make meaningful connections across the curriculum.
