Music and Movement

Music holds a central place in the Montessori curriculum, enriching the classroom environment and supporting children's overall development. Each day, students participate in a variety of musical activities, including singing, dancing, and engaging in rhythmic exercises that nurture their sense of timing and coordination. Music appreciation is woven throughout the program, exposing children to a wide range of musical genres and styles as they listen to and learn about the works of different composers.

As children explore the world of music, they develop listening skills, creativity, and self expression. The study of composers and musical styles also provides a window into different cultures and historical periods, broadening students' understanding of the world.
