Science

Science in a Montessori classroom is structured to spark children's natural sense of wonder and inspire them to investigate the world around them. The curriculum offers a broad introduction to scientific disciplines, including biology, botany, zoology, and physics. Through hands-on activities and experiments, children have the chance to observe, question, and explore real phenomena. Montessori students engage with living plants and animals, study the parts and functions of organisms, and explore basic physical principles using concrete materials. By conducting simple experiments, they are introduced to the scientific method-learning to make observations, form hypotheses, test their ideas, and draw conclusions. This experiential approach builds foundational scientific knowledge while also encouraging critical thinking, careful observation, and a lifelong love of discovery
